If she says I've gotta fix my teeth, then she's so American..
Sunlight breaks through the clouds!
She stretches out, back arching, fingertips reaching.
Like a blanket, the sun warms her skin.
I'm super glad the sun decided to make an appearance today, especially as the work week comes to an end. We work half days on Friday (7am-11:30am), there won't be a lunch box rambling, but don't fret! A regularly unscheduled post will be sure to happen.
You know, I mostly write shorts involving one or multiple people, but I never give them names. Do you feel like it is harder to connect to the characters because of this? Or do you find it easier to submerse yourself in the story telling itself, allowing you to create your own vision of the characters?
It's a potentially bad habit I've had since I started writing. It's easier for me to write of I don't name them, but then the multitude of HEs & SHEs sometimes feel monotonous....and maybe a bit confusing.
Until next week!
